Conceptual Metaphors in the Proverbial Domain Summary The article focuses on the analysis of conceptual metaphors in the proverbial domain. The study of conceptual metaphors in the paremiological dimension is of particular relevance in modern linguistics. Such research contributes to the understanding of a nation's worldview and cognitive models, reveals the cultural essence of language, and provides a significant foundation for linguistic, cognitive, and cultural studies. The aim of the article is to identify conceptual metaphors present in paremiological units and to analyze their cognitive and cultural functions.
