0420 Inflammatory bowel disease comorbidities in patients with basal cell carcinoma: Propensity scored case-controlled study
Purpose: Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most common skin cancer, influenced by environmental and genetic factors. Emerging evidence suggests an increased incidence of BCC in individuals with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). This study investigates the association between BCC and IBD using data from the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us (AoU) program to explore shared pathophysiological mechanisms. Methods: A cross-sectional analysis was conducted on 9,715 participants with BCC and 38,860 matched controls.
