CONSTRUCTION SOCIO-DEMOGRAPHIC SAFETY (BASED ON THE MATERIALS OF FOCUS GROUPS OF KAZAN STUDENTS)

The authors substantiate the relevance of the study of the process of constructing demographic safety by the youth student audience, and also identify key methodological features in the research field of demographic safety. The empirical basis of the author's research is 20 cases (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) conducted by the method of focus groups among students of the city of Kazan in the framework of the research field of narratives on demographic safety, followed by a free interview. The recruitment for the focus groups was carried out by teachers from Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University and Kazan National Research Technological University from among the students of these universities. Based on research on the concept of demographic safety in a multiethnic youth environment, the findings showed that a positive attitude towards having many children among Turkmen and Tajik ethnic groups influences the positive perception of having many children among Russian and Tatar ethnic groups...
