This research aims to examine the existence of Yanwi Mudrikah as a Banyumas female poet. It also aims to inventory poet figures in the Banyumas poetry map and add to the treasure of Indonesian literature. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the sociological approach of Pierre Bourdieu's cultural production arena. This research also employs interview and literature study methods. The results of this research are as follows: First, Yanwi Mudrikah is legitimized in the Ajibarang-Banyumas arena. Second, there is social capital in the form of a community activist that creates creative human resources with symbolic capital as a female poet. Third, there are historical product habitus, preconscious habitus, and patterned habitus in carrying out the existence of Banyumas poetry. As a result, it is concluded that Yanwi Mudrikah is a poet who survives by relying on the power of the arena, capital, and habitus in contesting the cultural production arena of Banyumas poets. Her strength in maintaining her position proves that Banyumas society is open to female poets.
