APPLICATION OF MATHEMATICAL METHODS IN AGRICULTURE

The article presents an analysis of the dependence of meat and meat products consumption per capita on the average per capita monetary income in the Volga Federal District in 2023. The relevance of the study is due to the need to analyze the factors influencing the structure of food consumption in the regions of Russia. Using the method of least squares and statistical analysis, a statistically insignificant relationship between the variables under consideration was revealed. The results indicate the limitations of a linear model for describing this dependence and the need for further research, taking into account additional socio-economic factors and regional peculiarities
