Cryptography solutions for power system data security and access control
With the development of intelligence and information technology in power system, data security and access control are becoming more and more important challenges for reliable operation of power system. Power system contains a large number of sensitive data, how to effectively protect these data from illegal access and attack, has become an urgent issue to be solved. This paper mainly studies the cryptography-based data security and access control solutions for power systems. Firstly, the basic theory of data security and access control in power system is introduced, and the concept of access control and the application of cryptography in this field are discussed emphatically. Secondly, a data encryption and access control framework combining public key encryption and symmetric encryption is proposed, and how to enhance the initialization and data encryption process by bilinear mapping is analyzed. At last, it explains in detail how to use encryption algorithm, attribute-based encryption (ABE) and PPSPC protocol for access control to ensure the safe transmission and legal access of data in the cloud. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme has great advantages in security and performance, and provides effective guarantee for information security of power system.
