Study and Analysis of Refractive Error Factors in Primary Angle-closure Glaucoma Patients After Cataract Surgery

As the proportion of the elderly population in China gradually increases, the prevalence of cataract patients is showing an upward trend, and the number of primary angle-closure glaucoma patients requiring cataract surgery is also on the rise. These patients not only seek to achieve control of intraocular pressure but also aspire to obtain good visual quality. Therefore, the postoperative refractive state changes in primary glaucoma patients have received more attention. Currently, cataract surgery techniques are gradually improving, but precise preoperative measurements of the ocular status in glaucoma patients and appropriate selection of intraocular lens (IOL) calculation formulas have a significant impact on the postoperative visual quality. This article aims to study the measurement methods of the anterior segment in primary glaucoma patients and the selection of IOL calculation formulas, with the goal of reducing refractive errors postoperatively and delivering excellent visual quality for the patients.
