Strategic mapping of robotic process automation adoption in Indian enterprises through a SWOT framework

Equipped with the potential to offer efficiency, cost savings, and resulting strategic nimbleness, RPA, or robotic process automation, is emerging as a disruptive force in the Indian business process. The paper has given a SWOT-based model on how best to assess the adoption of RPA within industries such as BFSI, IT, telecom, and healthcare. It uses secondary data and qualitative synthesis to discuss key domestic advantages and disadvantages and external chances and threats affecting the use of RPA in India. The survey showed that even when companies are enjoying the benefits of scalability and compliance, a talent gap and a difficulty in integration remain. Such challenges as legal uncertainty and ethical concerns will be compared to the opportunities that align with the global outsourcing trends as well as with the digital policy agendas. To assist in staff engagement, governance matching, and a progressive process, strategic recommendations are given. The report can appeal to practical insights of company executives, legislators, and academics, as it does not depict the RPA like a technological instrument but as a strategic facilitator. It draws the conclusion that to generate the groundbreaking outcomes, sustainable automation must be equipped with versatile strategies, comprehensive planning, and firm institutional structures.
