IMPROVING LOGISTICS OPERATIONS THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF SIMULATION MODELS
Modern transport logistics increasingly includes intelligent components that improve physical objects. The use of the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence systems and data analysis significantly improve logistics processes. At the same time, loading and unloading operations are a key stage in the cargo delivery system to points of sale. Improving the loading and unloading processes is a difficult task, which is solved using simulation models. They contribute to improving the overall efficiency of these operations. The article presents the process of developing a simulation model of the unloading process, performs an experiment to optimize the parameters of the model, and calculates the effectiveness of the development.
