The Influence of Social Media on the Mental Health of Teenagers
Among teenagers, the prevalence of social media is on the rise. Its influence on their mental health has emerged as a significant concern in recent years. Teenagers are among the most active users of social media platforms, and these platforms have become an essential element of their daily existence. However, while social media offers benefits, they are also associated with certain mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression. This study focuses on the link between social media use and adolescent mental health issues and uses carefully planned surveys to obtain relevant information. It aims to provide useful guidance to improve social media use and help young people adapt to the digital environment. The study also highlights the importance of educating young people about the reasonable use of the Internet to engage in social media in a balanced way and create external conditions that contribute to their mental health in an online environment.
