Research on Construction Rework Rate Control Based on BIM TechnologyTaking the Caojiadu Underground Garage Project as an Example

The problem of rework has led to low construction efficiency and massive waste of resources in the construction industry, which is contrary to the current national dual carbon strategic goals. Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology can help solve this problem and achieve healthy and efficient development of the construction industry. This article takes the underground garage of Caojiadu as the research object and uses the case analysis method to explore the application of BIM technology in controlling the construction rework rate. Research has found that BIM technology can effectively reduce the occurrence of rework, save engineering costs, and improve construction efficiency; At the same time, BIM technology should strengthen its integration with emerging technologies, achieve information sharing throughout the entire life cycle of buildings, and further improve the construction quality and management level of the construction industry.
