Design project of the roof covering of the fast charging station for electric vehicles

Electric vehicles have become an integral part of transport in Ukraine.Currently, the number of charging stations is estimated at thousands and covers almost all large cities and main highways of Ukraine.EV charging stations on highways are a major factor in purchasing an environmentally friendly mode of transport.DC charging stations are "fast" superchargers. The purpose of the research is to create a scientifically based calculation of metal structures in the Autodesk Inventor software package, and the objective of the research is to perform a numerical experiment on the behavior of the roof structure above the charging station cover under the influence of snow load.A numerical study of the charging station coating stress-strain state has been carried out, a safety margin has been established, which is 8-10 times the value, and the displacement does not exceed 0.5 mm.The considered roofing materials fully satisfy the conditions of maximum snow load.It is advisable to use the thinnest material from the point of view of economy, but the final decision should be made after studying the mock-up sample, as well as from the conditions of manufacturability of manufacture and recommendations for further operation of the coating.
