Design and investigation of a polarization convertor loaded MIMOgraphene–silicon DRA in the THz domain with enhanced isolation

This paper deliberates the plan and examination of a two-terminal graphene-dielectric radiator in the THz regime. Rectangular aperture is used to stimulate the fundamental hybrid mode (HEM11δ mode) inside the silicon dielectric. A single negative unit cell built metasurface is suspended over the aerial, which adds two important characteristics to the designed aerial: (i) linear waves are converted into circular waves within the working spectrum (3.21-3.51 THz); and (ii) the MS advances the separation value to above 28 dB. Graphene covering over the dielectric helps to make the radiator frequency agile. The planned radiator functions within 3.14-3.65 THz, which is also verified using the CST EM simulator. The ECC is less than 0.01, and DG is around 9.9 dBi. The suggested MIMO is suitable for THz-built 6G wireless devices due to its strong gain and steady far-field.
