Modeling and Analysis of 14-bus CIGRE Model
This paper provides a detailed dynamic analysis of the 14 -bus medium-voltage distribution network coupled with several renewable and distributed energy resources, such as solar photovoltaic (PV) generators, wind turbines, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC). The system is modeled in MATLAB/Simulink and includes elaborate modeling of each source of energy, as well as the use of decentralized control strategies on power flow and system performance. The high-rise issues or trends of the proposed framework encompass real-time load variation management, coordinated energy management, and voltage / frequency regulation under different conditions of operation. From the results of the simulation, it is evident that the integrated system facilitates the promotion of grid resilience, volatilities, and operational scenarios, and consequent intervention of transmissionrelated perturbations, proving to be robust, as well as adaptable to distribution networks today.
