Development and Evaluation of an Educational Mobile Game for Enhancing Integer Learning Among Grade 7 Students

This study evaluates a mobile game designed to enhance integer learning for Grade 7 students. Integrating curriculum-based content into an engaging platform, the game addresses common challenges in understanding integers. Using a quasi-experimental design, students were divided into an experimental group using the game and a control group using traditional methods. Pre-test and post-test results showed the game significantly improved learning outcomes, with the experimental group scoring higher. Students rated the game as user-friendly, appreciating its clear instructions and ease of use. The development process involved iterative refinements based on feedback to ensure effectiveness. Future recommendations include adding interactive tutorials and formative assessments for greater student engagement and real-time feedback. This study underscores the potential of mobile games as effective tools for enhancing mathematics education.
