Key Drivers of Smart Warehousing Adoption: Perspectives from Three Leading Logistics Companies in Southern Luzon, Philippines

The adoption of a strong Warehouse Management System is important to fulfill demands change and technology develops, culminating in the creation of flexible, technology-driven "smart warehouses" aimed for efficient man-machine collaboration. This study used the Technological, Organizational and Environmental (TOE) model to attain insights about influencing factors to adopt smart warehouse in a logistics company. The study used the method of partial least squares-structural equations modelling (PLS-SEM) to analyze the connection between the given variables. The purposive sampling technique was utilized by researchers. Finally, the increasing rate of technology adoption can be ascribed to the growing demand for increased speed across many warehouses, which outfit their distribution centers with efficient technologies, space-saving strategies, and faster reaction times. Integrating technology does not mean replacing humans, but rather enabling them to function more efficiently in the digital age.
