Impact of Mobile Learning (ML) on Students’ Achievement in Science Topics Textbook at the Intermediate Stage in Jordan

With the rapid rise of technological and informative knowledge, scientific growth, and development, the age of speculation in educational and instructional systems should be long past. This paper aims to determine the impact of mobile learning on the achievement of students' science topics at an intermediate stage in Jordan. This study, therefore, has been based on a quasi-empirical design. A total of 186 students participated in this study after being recruited into an empirical group of n = 92 and a control group containing n = 94 participants. The data were collected using the Achievement test and questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS. The results demonstrated that the two groups differed significantly and that the empirical group performed better on the test in terms of education; it also emerged that "female students outperformed the male students in the Achievement Test." The study suggests "more research on the use of m- learning in schools, higher educational institutions". Mobile learning should be considered when teaching science curricula and other textbooks.
