Improving the accuracy of digital measurement of roundwood and the efficiency of their processing by taking into account the bark

The article analyzes promising areas of research aimed at improving the accuracy of digital accounting of roundwood. The issues of unification of the conceptual framework, introduction of the latest measurement and automation methods, integration of big data and optimization of system interaction of information systems are considered. Special attention is paid to the issues of uniformity of measurements, improvement of the regulatory framework and development of control procedures to achieve a balance of data at various stages of accounting. Attention is also paid to the peculiarities of the transition from traditional to promising digital measurement methods, and the impact of the growing potential for processing and comparing data arrays on the accuracy and effectiveness of modeling quantitative bark indicators, along with the ability to more accurately predict the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of rooted timber.
