Specifics of power line clearance in forest areas: regulation, technologies and interaction of structures

The clearance of power line zones in forested areas requires a comprehensive approach that includes regulatory and legal regulation, interagency cooperation and the use of modern monitoring technologies. The most important aspects of management of these zones are compliance with the requirements for removal of woody and shrubby vegetation, as well as coordination of actions between grid organizations, forestry and local authorities. Remote monitoring methods using geo-information systems, satellite data, unmanned aerial vehicles and lidar scanning are becoming widespread. The use of these technologies facilitates the timely detection of overgrowth in protected areas and increases the efficiency of planning their clearing. Integration of technical solutions with regulated clearance procedures ensures a reduced risk of emergency outages, improved reliability of power supply and reduced probability of forest fires.
