Bistatic FDA radar hypersonic target detection
Frequency diversity array (FDA) has a wide range of application potentials in target detection, interference suppression and other fields. Compared with monostatic radar, bistatic radar can detect weak targets by utilizing the scattering of targets in different directions. Therefore, combining characteristics of the bistatic radar and FDA can significantly improve the target detection performance. However, when observing hypersonic targets for a long time, range migration and Doppler shift will occur, and the coherent integration performance will decrease. To address this problem, this paper analyzes the influence of the additional doppler shift caused by the frequency increment and velocity, then a range walk compensation method is proposed for bistatic FDA radar based on Keystone transform. Finally, simulations demonstrate the theoretical analysis, and the proposed method has reliable detection outcomes.
