Technical solutions to coordinate transformation in computer vision for port environments

As computer vision technology continues to advance, the development of smart ports is increasingly utilizing visual technology for object positioning in large-scale scenarios. The conversion of image coordinates identified by computer vision into the world coordinates necessary for port applications is considered a challenging task, due to the complexity of technical solutions and the difficulties associated with engineering implementation. This paper proposes an "end-to-end" standardized process for converting image pixel coordinates to world coordinate system. This mapping solution provides a standardized implementation process. It is highly operable and can adapt to the complex visual monitoring scenarios in ports. The implementation of this solution reduces the difficulty of deploying object positioning technology, thereby facilitating the widespread application of computer vision technology in smart port construction and enhancing their sensing capabilities.
