Multistage pore structure in Bi2Te3/SiC composites: achieving lower thermal conductivity and enhanced thermoelectric Performance

Spherical ceramics with hydrophobic functional groups were used to stabilize the foam. Moreover, a multistage pore structure helped achieve an ultra-low thermal conductivity of 0.19 W m −1 K −1 and a ZT of 0.53 at 300 K.
