KONFLIK PSIKOLOGIS TOKOH UTAMA NOVEL LUPUS: IDIIIH, UDAH GEDE KARYA HILMAN HARIWIJAYA, SEBUAH KAJIAN PSIKOANALISIS

This study aims to describe the psychological conflict experienced by the main character in the novel Lupus: Idiiih Sudah Gede by Hilman Hariwijaya. Psychological conflict is a conflict that arises within a person's self or soul as a response to emotional pressure or certain situations. The research method used is a descriptive method with a literary psychology approach by Sigmund Freud which includes three personality structures: Id (thought drives), Ego (reality controller), and Superego (moral values). The technique used is the reading and note-taking technique. Data were obtained from novel excerpts related to the forms of psychological conflict experienced by Lupus as the main character. The results of the study revealed that there are four forms of psychological conflict, namely anxiety, anger, disappointment, and suspicion. The four forms of psychological conflict are manifestations of an imbalance between instinctive drives (Id), moral demands (Superego), and controllers (Ego). In this analysis, it was found that the negative emotions experienced by the character Lupus emerged as a form of response to social pressure, failure, and uncertainty about the future. This study emphasizes the importance of a literary psychology approach in understanding character characters and making literary works a medium of reflection for readers in understanding human psychological dynamics. The results of this study can be a reference in learning literature and developing adolescent characters through fiction media. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konflik psikologis yang dialami tokoh utama novel Lupus: Idiiih Udah Gede karya Hilman Hariwijaya. Konflik psikologis adalah konflik yang muncul dalam diri atau jiwa seseorang sebagai respons terhadap tekanan emocional atau situasi tertentu. Métode penelitian yang digunakan adalah métode deskriptif dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra oleh Sigmund Freud yang mencakup tiga struktur kepribadian: Id (dorongan naluriah), Ego (pengendali realitas), dan Superego (nilai moral). Teknik yang digunakan yaitu teknik baca dan catat. Data diperoleh dari kutipan-kutipan novel yang berkaitan dengan bentuk-bentuk konflik psikologis yang dialami oleh Lupus sebagai tokoh utama. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat empat bentuk konflik psikologis yaitu kecemasan, kemarahan, kekecewaan, dan rasa curiga. Keempat bentuk konflik psikologis tersebut merupakan manifestasi dari ketidakseimbangan antara dorongan naluriah (Id), tuntutan moral (Superego), dan pengendali (Ego). Dalam analisis ini, ditemukan bahwa emosi negatif yang dialami tokoh Lupus muncul sebagai bentuk respons terhadap tekanan sosial, kegagalan, serta ketidakpastian akan masa depan. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan psikologi sastra dalam memahami karakter tokoh serta menjadikan karya sastra sebagai media refleksi bagi pembaca dalam memahami dinamika psikologis manusia. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan dalam pembelajaran sastra serta pengembangan karakter remaja melalui media fiksi.
