Practice and Exploration of Curriculum-Based Ideological and Political Education in the Standardized Residency Training for Naval Medical Personnel—A Case Study of the Ultrasound Medicine Training Base
Curriculum-based ideological and political education is an essential component of medical education reform in the new era, playing a significant role in cultivating morally and professionally competent naval medical talents. Taking a naval ultrasound medicine residency training base as an example, this paper explores the practical approaches and implementation outcomes of curriculum-based ideological and political education in standardized naval residency training. By analyzing the specialized characteristics of ultrasound medicine and identifying ideological and political elements, a “three-dimensional integrated” teaching model was constructed, encompassing classroom instruction, clinical practice, and military medicine-specific activities. Practice has demonstrated that the integration of curriculum-based ideological and political education significantly enhances naval residents’ professional identity, sense of mission, and military medical literacy, providing valuable insights for the cultivation of ultrasound medicine specialists in the navy.
