Anaesthetic Management of an Unknown Syndromic Adult with Anticipated Difficult Airway Undergoing Tonsillectomy: A Case Report
Difficult airway management remains a critical challenge in anaesthetic practice, particularly in syndromic patients with multiple craniofacial anomalies. We present the case of a 22- year-old female with undiagnosed syndromic features, global developmental delay, congenital heart disease, and anticipated difficult airway posted for elective tonsillectomy. This case highlights the importance of meticulous airway planning, the use of advanced airway tools, and stepwise decision-making in successfully managing a complex airway scenario.
