Communication Studies on Intangible Cultural Heritage of Inner Mongolia

With the rapid advancement of science and technology and the wide application of the Internet, the phenomenon of information and knowledge exchanges and integrations on a global scale is becoming increasingly frequent, presenting an unprecedentedly integrated situation. In such a context, some unique traditional cultures of certain countries are vanishing. This situation has become common in China, especially for intangible cultural heritages that are centered around people and passed down orally, which are losing their inheritors. Therefore, in the context of the information age, from the perspective of communication studies, how to protect and promote this kind of intangible cultural heritage with national characteristics has become an important issue.
