Analysis of global ovarian cancer disease burden and its changing trend from 1990 to 2021

Globally, the burden of ASIR due to OC has risen steadily from 1990 to 2021. This increase has been particularly pronounced in countries with low and medium SDI and in individuals aged between 70 and 74 years. The regions that currently bear the brunt of this disease include Central and Eastern Europe, Andean Latin America, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Notably, there is an observable shift in disease burden towards regions with lower socioeconomic status.
