Application Of The Fuzzy Linear Programming Method For Production Optimization (Case Study of UD.Diky Jaya)

Fuzzy Linear Programming is an attempt to find the value of Z which is an objective function that will be optimized so that it follows the constraints modeled using fuzzy sets. Fuzzy linear programming is also known as the development of a linear program that has a fuzzy boundary function. UD. Diky Jaya is an industrial company that produces tempeh. At the UD company. Diky Jaya still allows the addition of raw materials and production costs by 5% to meet the number of requests. Therefore, the fuzzy linear programming method is used to solve the problems in this study. With calculations using the fuzzy linear programming method, the addition of raw materials and production costs required is only 2.5%. And for the total profit earned by the company, before it was calculated using the fuzzy linear programming method it was Rp.937,600 and after it was calculated using the fuzzy linear programming method the profit increased by 3.4% to Rp.969,400. By using the fuzzy linear programming method, the results obtained are more optimal than the usual linear programming. For calculations using the fuzzy linear programming method, it has a profit of Rp.969,400. The total profit is 2.8% more than using the usual linear program.
