ANTIBIOTICS RESISTANCE OF WOUND MICROFLORA TO ANTIBACTERIAL DRUGS IN PATIENTS OF SURGICAL PROFILE AND MEASURES TO OPTIMIZE THEIR USE
Anbioc resistance has long been a priority issue for the WHO.Its urgency is reinforced by the irraonal use of anbiocs.Anmicrobial resistance is a threat to global health and causes millions of deaths worldwide every year. The irresponsible and excessive use of anbiocs contributes to the spread of anmicrobial resistance and negavely aects the eecveness of these crical medicines.Penetrang wounds are the most serious and dangerous. In the case of chest injuries, pneumothorax and haemothorax may develop, which can be detected by X-ray examinaon.Injuries to the abdominal cavity can lead to damage to the hollow and parenchymal organs, as well as intra-abdominal bleeding. In addion, penetrang wounds can cause microorganisms to enter the body cavies (either primarily or secondary to intesnal damage), which can lead to purulent meningis, pleurisy, peritonis or arthris.Analysis and monitoring of microora isolated from wounds, as well as determining the level of total consump-on of anmicrobial drugs, are crical links in the diagnosc and treatment process, which is the basis for the correct and raonal prescripon of anbacterial drugs and prevenon of anbioc resistance. One of the key principles of treatment is the use of an anbioc that is eecve against the microorganisms in the wound. However, somemes it can take a long me from the me of specimen collecon to the me of test results. In such cases, it is recommended to use the anbioc that has the highest probability of eecveness against infecon, given the characteriscs of the purulent discharge.Aer analysing the wound microora of paents in the surgical department and determining the range of sen-sivity of the isolated pathogens to anmicrobials, it is possible to calculate the level of total consumpon of an-microbials in the department and, based on the data obtained, to propose measures to prevent the spread of anmicrobial-resistant microorganisms. The paper presents generalised data on the analysis of wound microora of paents in surgical departments, characterises the spectrum of sensivity of isolated microorganisms to anmicrobial agents, determines the levels of total consumpon of anmicrobial agents in the department and suggests measures to prevent the spread of anmicrobial-resistant microorganisms.
