Assessment of the impact of comprehensive rehabilitation on the quality of life in patients with non-small cell lung cancer receiving immunotherapy and having recovered from severe COVID-19
Material and Methods. The study included 44 NSCLC patients divided into main (n=22) and control (n=22) groups. The main group underwent comprehensive rehabilitation, including nutritional support, physical therapy, magnetic therapy, and psychotherapy. Outcomes were assessed using the EORTC QLQ-C30 quality of life scale and CTCAE 5.0 toxicity criteria. Results. Patients in the main group showed improvements in general health status, physical functioning, and reduced symptoms of fatigue and dyspnea compared to the control group. The main group also maintained stable body weight. Conclusion. Comprehensive rehabilitation enhances quality of life and physical endurance in NSCLC patients undergoing immunotherapy and may be an important component of personalized treatment for this patient group.
