The use of low-frequency magnetic therapy in children with neurogenic bladder dysfunction

Objective. The aim of the study was to substantiate the use of low-frequency magnetic therapy in children with neurogenic bladder dysfunction. Material and methods. Clinical observations and special research methods were conducted in 40 children with neurogenic bladder dysfunction aged 4 to 13 years. The experimental groupconsisted of 20 children who underwent a course of low-frequency magnetic therapy, the comparison group included 20 children who received placebo treatment. Results. The analysis showed that the use of low-frequency magnetic therapy helps to relieve the symptoms of detrusor hyperactivity, has a beneficial effect on the indicators of the functional state of the bladder and helps restore the normal rhythm of urination in children with neurogenic bladder dysfunction. Conclusion. The use of low-frequency magnetic therapy helps to increase the effectiveness of restorative treatment of neurogenic bladder dysfunction in children.
