Evaluation of clinical efficacy of rehabilitation measures in patients with dorsopathy aggravated with polypathy
Objective: to evaluate the effectiveness of various combinations of physiotherapeutic methods in patients with dorsopathy in combination with common chronic diseases and to develop a personalized approach to their rehabilitation. Material and methods. The study methodology included three consecutive stages: a retrospective analysis of medical records of 2798 patients to determine the prevalence of polypathy; a prospective controlled randomized clinical trial involving 424 patients divided into groups depending on concomitant pathology and the physical factors used; a comparative analysis of age-related characteristics of the response to rehabilitation in 200 middle-aged and elderly patients. Results of the study indicate a high prevalence of polypathy among patients with dorsopathy (66.6 %) and the advantage of the combined use of magnetic therapy, laser therapy and electrotherapy over monofactorial exposure. The results can be used in rehabilitation centers, physiotherapy departments and health resorts to personalize approaches to the treatment of patients with combined pathology. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the development of a set of surrogate endpoints for assessing the effectiveness of physiotherapy in polypathy and creating a strategy for selecting physical factors taking into account the structure of concomitant diseases. Conclusion. The study allows us to conclude that a comprehensive personalized approach to physiotherapeutic rehabilitation of patients with dorsopathy and polypathy provides a significant improvement in the clinical indicators of both the main and concomitant diseases, contributing to an increase in the quality of life of this category of patients.
