Unlocking high performance in a Na–Fe–Mn–O cathode through phase-transition-free cycling
Li + , when added in small amounts as a dopant to Na–Fe–Mn–O layered oxide cathodes, disorders the transition-metal layer and stabilizes the P2-phase. Li + becomes dynamic at a high state of charge and completely suppresses the P to O phase transition.
