Electric Vehicle Battery Management for Sustainable Farming
This paper aims on incorporating green energy concepts to improve efficiency and environmental friendliness, this project seeks to create a sustainable, Arduino-based agricultural electric vehicle that is outfitted with automation for necessary farming activities. While levelling, watering, ploughing, and digging, the vehicle will continuously evaluate and optimise battery efficiency. Solar panels are integrated to encourage sustainability by allowing the vehicle to recharge on its own in the field and lowering reliance on outside power sources. A thorough Battery Management System (BMS) monitors temperature, voltage, and current to maintain battery health and ensure safe and effective operation. The battery management system keeps the operating at optimal efficiency by guarding against under- or overvoltage problems. The vehicle has a Bluetooth module installed to facilitate user control. This module allows wireless connectivity with a smartphone app for remote operation. In order to make sure the system runs within safe bounds, an LCD display offers real-time input on important metrics like battery voltage, temperature, and soil moisture levels. The robot is powered by servo motors and controlled by an Arduino board, which allows it to carry out crucial agricultural chores like levelling, ploughing, digging, and watering. By automating labour-intensive processes, this method minimizes physical labour while maximizingthe use of resources in farming. Through the examination of case studies and the execution of pilot projects, this study seeks to illustrate the viability and advantages of EV battery technology when applied to agricultural environments. In the end, the research will help create a more resilient food production system, lessen carbon footprints, and tackle the problems of contemporary agriculture by adopting creative energy solutions.
