This research work aims to analyse the improvement of operational performance in Indian surface logistics by adopting sustainability in logistics. A combination of qualitative and quantitative methods will be used in this investigation. In order to conduct this study, 50 respondents with ties to the Indian surface logistics sector were surveyed using questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software. The findings of the study show that green logistics practices (GLPs) are well accepted and provide substantial benefits such as reduced carbon footprint, increased cost saving, increased customer satisfaction, and higher effectiveness. As per the results, the degree to which businesses have implemented GLPs is a good indicator of how much they have improved their operational excellence.
