Enhancing Security in SDN Cloud Serverless ECG Stream processing by using AES-256 and Lambda Framework

This article presents a SDN Cloud-Based serverless computing Electrocardiogram (ECG) data processing system designed to revolutionize patient health data collection, storage, and analysis, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing). Leveraging a serverless architecture and the Lambda framework, the system efficiently manages real-time and historical ECG data, enabling immediate arrhythmia detection and comprehensive data analysis. AES-256 encryption ensures robust data privacy, safeguarding sensitive health information from unauthorized access. Our results indicate that the solution overcomes the limitations of single cloud infrastructures, improving patient outcomes by ensuring timely responses for both online and offline patients, which can potentially save lives in cases of dangerous arrhythmia detection. Key parameters such as encryption speed, data accuracy, and system scalability were evaluated, demonstrating a 97.5% improvement in overall data processing efficiency and a 96.3% increase in encryption performance compared to traditional methods. Furthermore, statistical analysis shows that timely detection reduced hospital readmission rates by up to 15%, enhancing both security and real-time health monitoring while contributing to sustainable health solutions.
