Microstripline Antenna for Space Application
This paper presented Microstrip line antenna for space applications. Proposed antenna is simulated for FR4 substrate material with dielectric thickness of 4.4, loss tangent 0.02 & substrate thickness of 1.6mm. Antenna simulated by electromagnetic simulation software CST Microwave studio for frequency of 2GHz to 80GHz. Antenna shown multiband characteristics by introducing the slits in the radiating patch. For the antenna resonance appears at 34.897GHz, 57.124GHz & 64.995GHz. Radiation pattern at resonance frequency shows almost omnidirectional pattern. The antenna designed in this work is great scope in radio location, earth exploration satellite and mobile space application.
