Analysis of Converter Topologies and Control Methods for Integrating Small-Power Wind Turbines in a DC Series Connection
The integration of small-scale wind turbines into the power grid presents an opportunity to harness renewable energy in a distributed and scalable manner. This paper analysis different types of converters and control methods that can be used to integrate the small wind generators to a DC series connection structure. The key objectives are to evaluate the topologies and control methods in terms of efficiency, power quality, and implementation complexity.
