Characteristics of Hard Magnetic Ferrites - Measuring, Modeling and Simulation
The paper deals with the measurement, modeling and simulation of the magnetic properties of hard magnetic materials. Experimental determinations are made on strontium-based hard magnetic ferrite samples, at ambient temperature of 20°C, using the hysteresisgraph method. The experimental data is further used in modeling of the magnetic hysteresis cycle, based on the facilities offered by analytical geometry to represent geometric figures using line segments and circle arcs connected between them. The proposed model is improved by a software program developed in LabVIEW that ensures the optimization of the magnetic hysteresis cycle representation of strontium hard fer rites with minimal input experimental data: coercive magnetic field strength, remanent magnetic polarization and magnetic saturation parameters.
