PROBLEM STATEMENT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PRONUNCIATION QUALITY ASSESSMENT SYSTEM FOR CHILDREN WITH HEARING IMPAIRMENTS
In the process of teaching children with hearing impairment correct pronunciation there is a need to compensate for the deficit of information about the sounding speech. This task can be solved by using special auxiliary technical aids (ATA) that analyse the speech signal in order to provide visual feedback of the sounding speech. In this paper, a description of a Pronunciation Quality Determination System (PQDS) is proposed.
