Design and Experimental Study of Refrigeration Service Based on Semiconductor
With the development of China's economy and the increasing awareness of labor protection, ensuring thermal safety for workers in high-temperature environments has become a widely recognized issue across various industries. This includes specialized work areas such as aerospace mines and glass/steel furnace workshops, as well as outdoor work environments for groups like construction workers, traffic police, and open-field agricultural workers. Prolonged exposure to high-temperature work environments can negatively affect workers' efficiency, production safety, and physical health, potentially leading to severe conditions such as heatstroke or heat exhaustion. To provide a convenient and practical cooling product for personnel working in high-temperature conditions, a lightweight and reliable wearable cooling garment based on thermoelectric cooling technology has been designed to address the shortcomings of existing cooling methods, such as micro-fan cooling, ice pack cooling, and phase change material (PCM) cooling. The wearable cooling garment employs a TEC1-12706 thermoelectric cooling chip as its core cooling source. It integrates multiple hardware modules, including a temperature acquisition module, a temperature regulation module, a thermoelectric cooling module, and an OLED liquid crystal display module, into an automated thermoelectric cooling control system. Silicone tubes are embedded inside the cooling garment, allowing the cooled liquid to flow to different parts of the garment, thereby effectively reducing body temperature.
