Factors Affecting Labor Mobility Indonesia in 2022

This study aims to determine the characteristics and factors that influence labour mobility. The secondary data used is sourced from BPS, which is the National Labour Force Survey (SAKERNAS) data in 2022. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative methods, with descriptive and inferential approaches through multinomial logistic regression. The results of the analysis show that all independent variables, namely education, marital status, gender, age, employment sector, and income, have a significant influence on labour mobility decisions. In particular, workers with a higher level of education, productive age, who work in the formal sector, and have an income above the poverty line tend to prefer non-permanent mobility, both in the form of commuting and circular mobility.
