TRENDS AND PROBLEMS OF TRAINING CHINESE SOLO VOCALISTS IN RUSSIA

The growth in the number of Chinese students in Russian universities in the current century demonstrates rapidly progressing positive dynamics. Future solo vocalists (academic singers) from China studying in Russia are no exception. Not only the number of such students is growing, but also the educational experience of universities involved in the training of such students is expanding. In recent years, a significant number of scientific papers on various aspects of this training, completed by both Chinese and Russian authors, in co-authorship, has also increased. This study identifies and characterizes the trends and problems that can be traced in the training of Chinese solo vocalists in Russia. The study is based on the analysis of the content of scientific papers (2018–2024), Internet sources, websites of Russian universities; reflection of my own experience in obtaining vocal education at a Russian university.
