STRUCTURAL AND LOGICAL SCHEMES AS A DIDACTIC TOOL IN PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION
The article argues the expediency of visualizing theoretical knowledge clothed in a “linear text” (in textbooks, in lecture notes, etc.) through the construction of didactic tools in the format of structural logic schemes (SLS). This type of visibility has positive features that allow students to form quite stable cause-and-effect relationships when they master new educational material due to the compactness and compaction of information. A retrospection of teachers’ use of such visual tools, introduced by V. F. Shatalov more than half a century ago in the format of reference notes, is given. Structural and logical schemes from the experience of teaching environmentally oriented academic disciplines in non-core universities with methodological comments reflecting the technology of vocational education are presented.
