Gender stereotypes and their impact on modern society

This article analyzes the controversial phenomenon of gender stereotypes present in modern society. The study of these stereotypes is important for understanding the social processes that form attitudes and norms of behavior, as well as for raising awareness about them. The paper considers the definition of a "gender stereotype", and also conducts research using the survey method, the purpose of which is to identify current attitudes existing in society today. The study found that, for the most part, gender stereotypes lose their influence, although, for example, stereotypes of qualities inherent in one or another gender persist. The results obtained can be used for further research, because this topic remains relevant and requires attention due to the need to develop social policies, media content, and educational programs that help overcome gender asymmetry.
