A Case of Localized Upper Urinary Tract Amyloidosis

泌尿生殖道淀粉样变性是一种罕见的疾病，其症状和影像学表现与恶性肿瘤相似，常表现为无痛性肉眼血尿。本文报告了一例在吉林省人民医院泌尿外科接受治疗的病例，病变累及输尿管下段和部分肾盂，导致输尿管和肾盂扩张积水，最终行全程肾输尿管切除术。文章简要介绍了该病的临床表现、诊断标准及治疗方案，强调早期发现和确诊的重要性，以避免不必要的手术切除。Genitourinary amyloidosis is a rare disease with symptoms and imaging manifestations similar to those of malignant tumors, often presenting as painless gross hematuria. This article reports a case treated at the Department of Urology, Jilin Provincial People’s Hospital, in which the lesion involved the lower part of the ureter and part of the renal pelvis, leading to dilatation of the ureter and renal pelvis with hydronephrosis, and ultimately a full nephroureterectomy. The article briefly describes the clinical manifestations, diagnostic criteria, and treatment options for this disease, emphasizing the importance of early detection and confirmation of diagnosis to avoid unnecessary surgical resection.
