THE SURVEY OF STUDENTS OF PEDAGOGICAL EDUCATION ABOUT PROFESSIONAL CAREER FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING THE PROCESS OF PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AT THE UNIVERSITY

The article presents a detailed analysis of the results of the survey of first-year students “Professional career of modern youth”. The main purpose of the study was to identify the directions of further development of professional education at the university based on the information obtained as a result of the survey. To do this, the authors analyzed the answers to the motivation for choosing this professional trajectory, took into account how boys and girls see their future careers, which ways they choose to develop their professional status. To achieve this goal, the authors were able to identify a number of features of teacher education from the standpoint of students’ opinions, to argue for signs of a positive trend in students’ aspirations to find ways to realize their professional future, as well as the negative sides of unjustified choices by students-­future teachers for career growth. Based on the information received, the directions of the development of the professional education process at the university have been determined.
