The construction of a digital economy system, as a crucial component of digital transformation, is a core link in promoting high-quality regional economic development. This article elaborates on the significant importance of digital transformation to regional economic development, analyzes and discusses the key issues and main approaches that local authorities need to address in advancing the construction of a digital economy system, and aims to explore effective paths for the construction of a digital economy system from the perspective of government leadership.
