CAUSES, CONTROL AND REDUCTION OF THE RISK OF DEFORMATIONS IN CONCRETE STRUCTURES
The article presents the importance of understanding and controlling deformations of concrete structures, which are an integral part of modern construction. Concrete, being one of the main building materials, is subject to deformations as a result of various factors. To effectively monitor the condition of concrete structures, it is necessary to apply a variety of control methods, highlighting the main types of deformations. The key aspect is the need to take into account the factors leading to deformations at all stages — from design to operation. Understanding the nature and mechanism of deformations will improve the durability, safety and operational suitability of concrete structures. Ignoring these aspects can lead to serious consequences, emphasizing the need for a professional approach in the control and maintenance of construction sites.
