Deterioro de la Memoria en Pacientes Oncológicos: Una Revisión Teórica

The following article seeks to carry out a theoretical review of the conditions involved, in a chronic disease such as cancer, which has a high physical and mental demand and how this directly impacts negatively, on the different processes that memory carries generating a condition in the quality of life of cancer patients. For this purpose, an approach will be made to the different authors, theories and research, taking up the most relevant aspects of these, which will define the different premises, that accompany this theoretical review and thus have a broad view on how memory is affected in cancer patients, due to what entails a chronic disease such as cancer. Similarly, it should be clarified that the following article will not deal with a specific type of cancer, but as the disease in its different stages regardless of its type, are generating a deterioration in the different cognitive processes, that involve memory, which makes it necessary to define the different stages of the disease and memory.
